[origin: EP0596337A1] The invention relates to a device for fitting printing plates (5) in-register on the plate cylinder of a sheet-fed offset printing machine, in which device the clamping bar (3) assigned to the lead edge of print has stops (7) in the region of the receiving gap, which stops interact with corresponding punched recesses (5.1) at the leading edge of the printing plate (5). The intention is for simple and precise alignment of the stops (7) to be possible in relation to the register of the plate cylinder.
