Abstract (en)
Electrode for deposition by electrophoresis on a conductive surface. The latter consists of a solid cylinder or a conductive cylindrical tube, characterised in that only its outer side surface is coated with an insulating layer, except for one (or more) annular zone(s) situated facing the object to be coated. The process consists in: coating the outer side surface of a solid cylinder or of a circular tube with an insulating layer, incising one (or more) annular zone(s) into this layer, removing the incised ring or the incised rings. This invention finds its application in the packaging industry. <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne une électrode pour dépôt électrophorétique sur une surface conductrice. Celle-ci est constituée d'un cylindre plein ou tube cylindrique conducteur, caractérisé en ce que seule sa surface latérale externe est revêtue d'une couche isolante, sauf une (ou plusieurs) zone(s) annulaire(s) située(s) en regard de l'objet à revêtir. Le procédé consiste à: revêtir la surface latérale externe d'un cylindre plein ou d'un tube circulaire d'une couche isolante, inciser dans cette couche une (ou plusieurs) zone(s) annulaire(s), éliminer l'anneau incisé ou les anneaux incisés. Cette invention trouve son application dans l'industrie du conditionnement. <IMAGE>
