[origin: EP0596825A1] The invention relates to a process for assembling a fence, which fence consists of a plurality of posts (2) arranged along a predetermined line and anchored in the ground and between which extend panels (4) which are assembled with the said posts, these panels (4) consisting of two sheets (layers) (5, 6) of wires (7, 8), in which the wires in one layer are substantially perpendicular to those (8) in the other other layer (6), these wires being welded at their intersection in order to constitute a trellis (4) which is substantially rigid. It is characterised in that: - the end of each panel is inserted into the corresponding rabbet (rebate), - the panel (4) is positioned in the rabbet, - the end wire of the panel is secured (flanged) on the bottom of the rabbet by means of a member passing through the bottom of the rabbet and bearing at least indirectly on the opposite face of the bottom of the rabbet. <IMAGE>
