[origin: EP0596858A1] A sectional boiler consists of individual cast-iron sections, which in each case have a lower and an upper hub (3), (4) for mutual water-space connection and of which one cast-iron section (1), preferably the end section, is provided with two water channels (5, 6) for the flow and return connection of a heating installation. To be able to connect one or more heating circuits to the boiler in an efficient, space-saving manner, the water channels (5, 6) preferably leading off from the hubs (3, 4) form in each case a distributing chamber (7, 8) having at least two pipe connections (9, 10) and are produced as cast-on parts of the cast-iron section (1). <IMAGE>
