The cleaning or sweeping machine has a frame (14) with a fixed and a movable frame part (14a, 14b). The movable frame part (14b) carries an extension arm (20) for a brush (12) and is pivotable about a vertical axis (A) in a horizontal plane. A chain (40) is placed around a first sprocket wheel (42), which is non-rotatably connected to the fixed frame part (14a), and is in engagement with a second sprocket wheel (44) which is rotatably mounted on the pivotable frame part. A hydraulic actuating unit (36) is fixed to the chain (40) by the cylinder (36b) and articulated on the pivotable frame part (14b) via the piston rod (36a). <IMAGE>

Die Reinigungs- oder Kehrmaschine hat einen Rahmen (14) mit einem feststehenden und einem beweglichen Rahmenteil (14a, 14b). Der bewegliche Rahmenteil (14b) trägt einen Auslegerarm (20) für eine Bürste (12) und ist um eine senkrechte Achse (A) in einer Horizontalebene schwenkbar. Eine Kette (40) ist um ein erstes Kettenrad (42) gelegt, das undrehbar mit dem feststehenden Rahmenteil (14a) verbunden ist und mit einem zweiten Kettenrad (44) in Eingriff, das am schwenkbaren Rahmenteil drehbar gelagert ist. Eine hydraulische Stelleinheit (36) ist mit dem Zylinder (36b) an der Kette (40) befestigt und über die Kolbenstange (36a) am schwenkbaren Rahmenteil (14b) angelenkt. <IMAGE>
