[origin: EP0597491A1] A footwear last (1) with a bottom surface (7), the outline (20) of which on both sides of the central axis (14) of the last runs asymmetrically convexly in the front region between the ball axis (8) and the front last end (2) and essentially asymmetrically concavely in the rear region between the ball axis (8) and the rear last end. The normal length of the last (1) results from the length of the foot plus an anatomically dependent additional amount (b) for freedom of the toes.
