Drawing-in gripper (10, 11) for the transportation and insertion of an auxiliary weft thread (6, 7) into the seam shed (1) of a seam-weaving loom, with a movable gripper arm (12, 13) having a collet chuck (14, 15) for grasping the auxiliary weft thread (6, 7), there being arranged on the gripper arm (12, 13) a device (16 to 19) for measuring the mechanical stress occurring within the gripper arm (12, 13). The mechanical stress occurring within the gripper arm (12, 13) can be measured by means of strain gauges (16-19). <IMAGE>

Durchziehgreifer (10, 11) zum Transportieren und Eintragen eines Hilfsschußfadens (6, 7) in das Nahtwebfach (1) bei einer Nahtwebmaschine, mit einem bewegbaren Greiferarm (12, 13) mit einer Spannzange (14, 15) zum Erfassen des Hilfsschußfadens (6, 7), wobei an dem Greiferarm (12, 13) eine Einrichtung (16 bis 19) zum Messen der innerhalb des Greiferarms (12, 13) auftretenden mechanischen Spannung angeordnet ist. Die innerhalb des Greiferarms (12, 13) auftretende mechanische Spannung kann durch Dehnungsmeßstreifen (16-19) gemessen werden. <IMAGE>
