[origin: EP0597495A1] Adjustable harness guide for the Jacquard machine (1) of a seam-weaving loom, in which the harness cords (3) are retracted by tension springs (6) which are fastened in a grid (7), and the harness cords (3) are guided through a harness board (8), the shed being located between the grid (7) and the harness board (8), and the grid (7) and the harness board (8) being adjustable in their angular positions relative to the run of the harness cords (3). The grid (7) and the harness board (8) can be connected by means of a linkage (21), so that they move in synchronism. The grid (7) and the harness (8) can each consist of two halves connected to one another by means of a hinge (12, 13), the axis of the hinge (12, 13) extending parallel to the warp threads of the seam shed. <IMAGE>
