Abstract (en)
A gimbal (32) formed integral with a load beam (36) by through etching an H pattern at the end of the beam to define a pair of tabs (46, 50) connected by a pair of beams (58); half etching from the head direction one tab (50) with an defined area masked to form a load button (52); and half etching the beam from the other direction to provide the proper gimbal stiffness.
