The invention proposes an arrangement of the type in which the pump (20) is arranged in line with one of the intermediate bearings of the crankshaft of the engine, the body (22) of the pump being fixed under the lower face of the cylinder block, characterised in that the means for driving the pump are produced in the form of a drive module (38) comprising a single support (mount) (40) fixed under the lower face of the cylinder block and which includes an emerging bore (52) in which there is rotationally mounted the drive shaft (56), the first end (58) of which receives a drive wheel (60), and the second end (64) of which includes a device (66) for coupling to the drive spindle (32) of the pump (20), the single support (40) including a delivery pipe which connects the delivery orifice (34) of the pump (20) to an orifice formed in the lower face of the cylinder block. <IMAGE>

L'invention propose un agencement du type dans lequel la pompe (20) est agencée au droit de l'un des paliers intermédiaires du vilebrequin du moteur, le corps (22) de la pompe étant fixé sous la face inférieure du bloc-cylindres, caractérisé en ce que les moyens d'entraînement de la pompe sont réalisés sous la forme d'un module d'entraînement (38) comprenant un support unique (40) fixé sous la face inférieure du bloc-cylindres et qui comporte un alésage (52) débouchant dans lequel est monté à rotation l'arbre d'entraînement (56) dont la première extrémité (58) reçoit une roue d'entraînement (60) et dont la seconde extrémité (64) comporte un dispositif (66) d'accouplement avec l'axe d'entraînement (32) de la pompe (20), le support unique (40) comportant un conduit de refoulement qui relie l'orifice de refoulement (34) de la pompe (20) à un orifice formé dans la face inférieure du bloc-cylindres. <IMAGE>
