Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a window lifter for a motor vehicle. This window lifter comprises a rider (1) mounted so that it can move in a door of the vehicle under the action of a driving mechanism for driving the window glass (7) in a vertical displacement by means of a finger (10) connected by its base to the rider (1) and engaging in a hole (6) formed in the window glass (7). The free end of the finger (10) extends beyond the hole (6) and the finger (10) is held in the latter with the aid of locking means. These locking means include a sleeve (11) slipped over the finger (10) and held axially on it, exhibiting a deformable part extending beyond the hole (16) on the free end side of the finger (10), and actuatable expansion means carried by the finger (10) and capable of giving rise, when actuated, to a widening of the said deformable part to a radial dimension greater than the diameter of the hole (16) in order to hold the finger (10) in the window glass (7). <IMAGE>

L'invention concerne un lève-vitre pour véhicule automobile. Ce lève-vitre comprend un curseur (1) monté à déplacement dans une porte du véhicule sous l'action d'un mécanisme d'entraînement, pour entraîner la vitre (7) dans un déplacement vertical au moyen d'un doigt (10) raccordé par sa base au curseur (1) et engagé dans un trou (6) ménagé dans la vitre (7). L'extrémité libre du doigt (10) s'étend au-delà du trou (6) et le doigt (10) est retenu dans celui-ci à l'aide de moyens de verrouillage. Ces moyens de verrouillage comportent un manchon (11) enfilé sur le doigt (10) et retenu axialement sur celui-ci, présentant une partie déformable s'étendant au-delà du trou (16) du côté de l'extrémité libre du doigt (10), et des moyens d'expansion actionnables, portés par le doigt (10), aptes à provoquer, lorsqu'actionnés, un élargissement de ladite partie déformable à une dimension radiale supérieure au diamètre du trou (16), de façon à retenir le doigt (10) dans la vitre (7). <IMAGE>
