Abstract (en)
A modular franking machine, comprising a first module (1), a second mail module (2) and a device for assembling the first module in alignment with the second module. The assembling device comprises a peg (11) mounted on the first module and a sleeve (21) accommodated in the second module. The peg is inserted into the sleeve to effect automatic centring of the second module with respect to the axis of the peg. An axially mobile piston (12) is mounted in the peg in order to displace a ball (13) so that the latter projects outwards from the peg in order to engage in a recess (21B) in the sleeve (21) so as automatically to immobilise the peg in the sleeve. <IMAGE>

Une machine à affranchir modulaire, comportant un premier module (1), un second modules de courrier (2) et un dispositif d'assemblage du premier module dans le prolongement du second module . Le dispositif d'assemblage comporte une broche (11) montée sur le premier module et un fourreau (21) aménagé dans le second module. La broche s'insère dans le fourreau pour réaliser un centrage automatique du second module par rapport à l'axe de la broche. Un piston (12) mobile axialement est monté dans la broche pour déplacer une bille (13) de manière à ce que celle-ci fasse saillie vers l'extérieur de la broche pour s'enclencher dans un évidement (21B) dans le fourreau (21) afin d'immobiliser automatiquement la broche dans le fourreau. <IMAGE>
