[origin: DE4126220A1] Electric contact rivets having a stem and one or two heads are produced by upsetting wire sections in a forming tool. To form at least one of the heads, a section of a wrapped wire is used whose wrap is made of a more ductile metallic material than the core of the wrapped wire enveloped by the wrap.

On produit des rivets plaqués de contact électrique ayant une tige et une ou deux têtes en refoulant des sections de fil métallique dans un outil de formage. Afin de former au moins une des têtes, on utilise une section d'un fil sous gaine dont la gaine est composée d'un matériau métallique plus ductile que l'âme du fil sous gaine enveloppé par la gaine.
