A method for processing a silver halide color photographic material, which greatly improves properties with regard to color stain, fading by heat and color restorability is provided, the method comprising processing a silver halide color photographic material containing a cyan coupler of formula (I) with a bath having a bleaching ability and containing an iron (III) complex of a compound of formula (II) after color development. <CHEM>
