[origin: EP0598279A1] The exterior-swinging-door closure described is distinguished in that it can be arranged, on the inside of the bus, on the door and is essentially composed of a cylindrical housing (1) with the fastening plate (6) seated thereon at one end, of a driver (2) which is mounted rotatably on the housing (1) and intended for locking rods (14) which, by means of their free ends, can be pushed into, and drawn out of, mutually opposite latching receiving means of the door frame, of a handle body (3) connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the driver (2), of a cylinder lock (4) which passes through the handle body (3) and is accommodated in a rotationally fixed manner in a bore of the driver (2), and of a latch (5) which can be actuated counter to the force of spring means via a key (23) of the cylinder lock (4), said latch (5) being located, whenever the locking rods (14) are in the unlocked position, in a latching position which prevents rotation of the handle body (3), with the result that the door can be locked only by means of a key (23), but, in contrast, can be unlocked without a key (23). <IMAGE>
