[origin: EP0360024A1] A pivot fitting or pivot-tilt fitting for windows, doors or the like comprises a lower pivot-tilt bearing (12) and an upper pivot bearing (10), the two bearings being respectively designed with two links (40, 42) for the displacement of the pivot axis (54) during the pivoting opening of the opening frame (26). To relieve the links of the weight of the opening frame, it is proposed that the opening frame (26) be supported on the stationary frame (20) via a device (160) independent of the links (40, 42) of the two pivot bearings (10, 12). <IMAGE>
