Abstract (en)

The colloidal products of the invention are obtained by a process comprising optionally a stage (a) in which a colloidal product containing at least one alkaline-earth metal carbonate in micellar form is reacted with at least one compound chosen from alkylsulphonic and alkylarylsulphonic acids and their salts and long-chain aliphatic caboxylic acids and their salts, so as to modify a proportion ranging up to 70 % of the basicity reserve of the initial colloidal product, and a stage (b) in which the residual basicity reserve is neutralised with at least one acid containing at least one element chosen from boron, phosphorus and sulphur. These colloidal products can be employed as antiwear and extreme-pressure additives in lubricants.

Les produits colloïdaux de l'invention sont obtenus par un procédé comprenant éventuellement une étape (a) dans laquelle on fait réagir sur un produit colloïdal contenant au moins un carbonate de métal alcalino-terreux sous forme micellaire, au moins un composé choisi parmi les acides alkylsulfoniques et alkylarylsulfoniques et leurs sels et les acides carboxyliques aliphatiques à longue chaîne et leurs sels de manière à modifier une proportion allant jusqu'à 70 % de la réserve de basicité du produit colloïdal de départ et une étape (b) dans laquelle on neutralise la réserve de basicité résiduelle par au moins un acide contenant au moins un élément choisi parmi le bore, le phosphore et le soufre. Ces produits colloïdaux peuvent être utilisés comme additifs antiusure et extrême-pression dans les lubrifiants.
