Boot with a shell comprising a lower shell part (1) and an upper (3) in two parts (5, 6) which is articulated on the lower shell part. The boot comprises a device for closing and tightening the upper, comprising a lever/tensioner (15) articulated on the back of the upper. The upper is locked in the advanced descent position by the lever/tensioner (15) which has, for example, a snout (24) interacting with a stop (26).
