Abstract (en)
2.1. The radiator for a motor vehicle comprises a tube/fin block having water boxes at the ends of the heat exchange (transfer) tubes. A water box having partitions which subdivide the water box into a plurality of chambers (compartments) is provided for the purpose of differentially controlling the heat transfer capacity of the radiator for a left-hand and a right-hand side of the vehicle interior. These water boxes are injection-moulded from plastic, and the injection-moulding tool required for this purpose is very complicated and therefore expensive. In addition, three connections are required for the heating medium. 2.2. The novel radiator has two partitions in the first water box which are arranged in each case between adjacent chambers. Extending through one of the chambers is a connecting duct which connects the two other chambers to one another. 2.3. The radiator is provided for motor vehicles in which the heating system permits differential temperature control of the right-hand and left-hand sides of the vehicle interior. <IMAGE>

Der Heizkörper besitzt im ersten Wasserkasten (12,112) zwei Trennwände (16,116), welche jeweils zwischen benachbarten Kammern (17,18,19;117,118,119) angeordnet sind. Durch eine der Kammern (19;119) erstreckt sich ein Verbindungskanal (20;120) , der die beiden anderen Kammern (17,18;117,118) miteinander verbindet. Der Heizkörper ist für Kraftfahrzeuge vorgesehen, bei denen die Heizungsanlage eine unterschiedliche Temperierung der rechten und linken Seite des Fahrzeuginnenraums gestattet. <IMAGE>
