[origin: EP0599161A1] In a sealing arrangement, especially for the door of a refrigerator or freezer, having a heat-insulating housing whose opening can be closed by a door which, on its side facing the opening and equipped with an inner lining, has a bellows-like magnetic seal which runs around the edge of the door and is equipped with a sealing head and a sealing foot which are interconnected by flexible walls constructed as expanding folds, the sealing foot, which is equipped with an insertion slope, being anchored to the inner lining in a receiving groove tapering on the opening side and directed to the door opening, whereas the sealing head, which is equipped with magnetic strips, in the closed state of the door bears on the opening edge of the housing and holds the door in firm contact against the opening edge, the sealing head is arranged laterally offset with respect to the sealing foot, the sealing foot being equipped with a bulge on one side which cooperates with an undercut in the receiving groove and is arranged, opposite to the lateral offset, closer to the sealing head, and that side of the sealing foot lying opposite the bulge being supported in the receiving groove. <IMAGE>
