A disc-shaped sealing insert (5) is placed loosely in a bottle closure having a continuous lid (1) of constant thickness, which lid is made of aluminium integrally with a circumferential apron (2) into which it merges at the edge. The sealing insert consists of a tough elastic, sterilisation-resistant plastic material of thermoplastic rubber with polyolefins and is less than 1 mm thick in an edge region, but has a thickness of at least 1.2 mm in a central region. The bottle closure is designed as a screw closure. However, it can also be pierced by a spike (10) of an infusion set, the sealing insert (5) being raised from the lid (1) and, having been pierced by the spike (10), forming a cuff (12) which is placed around the spike (10) in such a way that the piercing point is sealed in a droplet-tight manner and the spike is held sufficiently firmly against pulling. <IMAGE>

In einen Flaschenverschluss mit einem durchgehenden Deckel (1) von konstanter Stärke, der einstückig mit einer umlaufenden Schürze (2), in die er am Rand übergeht, aus Aluminium hergestellt ist, ist ein scheibenförmiger, aus einem zähelastischem, sterilisationsbeständigem Kunststoff aus thermoplastischem Kautschuk mit Polyolefinen bestehender Dichteinsatz (5) lose eingelegt, welcher in einem Randbereich weniger als 1 mm dick ist, in einem mittleren Bereich jedoch eine Dicke von mindestens 1,2 mm aufweist. Der Flaschenverschluss ist als Schraubverschluss ausgebildet. Er kann jedoch auch von einem Dorn (10) eines Infusionsbestecks durchstossen werden, wobei der Dichteinsatz (5) vom Deckel (1) abgehoben wird und, vom Dorn (10) durchstossen, eine Manschette (12) bildet, die sich derart um den Dorn (10) legt, dass die Durchstossstelle tropfdicht verschlossen ist und der Dorn gegen Zug ausreichend festgehalten wird. <IMAGE>
