Abstract (en)
A method for making a container comprising a hollow seamless body 2 drawn from coated metal sheet or foil, having a flange 4 at one end of the body closed by a lid 10 which is heat sealed to the flange 4 and at the other end of the body a flange adapted to receive an end wall 8 for attachment by a double seam 9. According to the method the end wall 8 is cut from a channel portion of the end wall portion of the drawn body 2 and the body is provided with a neck of reduced diameter and flange to permit double seaming to the end wall. <IMAGE>
