Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a motorised swimming-pool cover, of the type including mutually articulated floating elements which are wound onto a horizontal roller (1) whose length is less than the width of the pool, which roller is immersed transversely in the said swimming pool and is driven in rotation by a geared motor unit (14). According to the invention, the roller (1) is held immersed inside the pool by means of a framework which has the shape of a U whose top (cross-member) (4, 5, 10) is arranged above or flush with the level of the water and supports automatic cover retrieval (covering) means, and the branches (2, 3) of which encase the said roller and support, on their inner face, bearings (6, 9) receiving the ends of the said roller (1). L'invention concerne une couverture motorisée de piscine du type comportant des éléments flottants articulés entre eux, qui s'enroulent sur un rouleau horizontal (1) de longueur inférieure à la largeur du bassin qui est immergé transversalement dans ladite piscine et qui est entraîné en rotation par un groupe motoréducteur (14). Selon l'invention, le rouleau (1) est maintenu immergé à l'intérieur du bassin au moyen d'un bâti qui affecte la forme d'un U dont l'âme (4, 5, 10) est disposée au-dessus ou en affleurement du niveau de l'eau et supporte des moyens de recouvrement de la couverture automatique et dont les branches (2, 3) enchassent ledit rouleau et supportent sur leur face interne des paliers (6, 7) recevant les extrémités dudit rouleau (1).
