[origin: EP0599736A1] The present invention relates to a heat recovery boiler for hot gases comprising an inlet duct (1) for the gases which has an essentially horizontal general direction, a deviation duct (2) for the gases which is connected to the preceding duct (1) and opens onto an enclosure (3) which has an essentially vertical direction and contains a set of essentially horizontal and superposed heat exchanger stages and a discharge duct (4) for the fumes at the upper end of the enclosure (3).
