Drying and ironing device for flat linen (laundry), of the type including a metal heating cylinder (1) rotationally mounted about a horizontal axis (10). The heating cylinder (1) is thin and contains, on the inside and concentrically, a series of heating elements (3) and an inner cylinder (2) including, at one of its ends, regularly distributed over its entire periphery, openings (21) and, at its other end, a fan (turbine) (4) for sucking out the air contained in the internal space (22) of the cylinder (2) and delivering it into the annular space (20) contained between the outer cylinder (1) and the inner cylinder (2). <IMAGE>

Dispositif de séchage et de repassage de linge plat, du type comportant un cylindre métallique chauffant (1) monté en rotation autour d'un axe horizontal (10). Le cylindre chauffant (1) est de faible épaisseur et renferme intérieurement et concentriquement une série d'éléments chauffants (3) et un cylindre intérieur (2) comportant à l'une de ses extrémités, régulièrement réparties sur tout son pourtour, des ouvertures (21) et à son autre extrémité une turbine (4) pour aspirer l'air contenu dans l'espace intérieur (22) du cylindre (2) et le refouler dans l'espace annulaire (20) compris entre le cylindre extérieur (1) et le cylindre intérieur (2). <IMAGE>
