[origin: WO9305264A1] A core cutter head, particularly for core drilling to assess a reservoir, comprising: a body (5) which is rotatable around a rotational axis (6); blades (8) provided on the body (5) at least at the front thereof; two or more cutters (10) distributed along each blade (8) and each having a cutting edge (12), wherein the cutting edges (12) are arranged together within an imaginary housing placed around a core (4) to be extracted; and nozzles (13) providing a liquid jet and extending to the front of the body (5). At least one of the nozzles (13) has an outlet (15) for deflecting the liquid jet substantially obliquely forwards relative to the rotational axis (6) and away from the core, preferably at an angle greater than 45 DEG , and advantageously greater than 50 DEG .
