[origin: EP0600104A1] The invention provides a locking device for an actuating linkage (1) on windows, doors or the like, which is connected to a locking member (14) which is fastened on the vertex of a bow-shaped leafspring (9), supported on the outer side of a covering rail (2), and in the form of a flat-bar portion and whose free end is enlarged in the form of a hook, with the result that it can be guided, only in the tilted position of the locking member (14), through a correspondingly dimensioned longitudinal opening in the covering rail (2) until, after engaging below the covering rail (2) by means of the hook-shaped portion (16), the spring re-aligns the locking member (14) in the upright position with respect to the covering rail (2). The hook-shaped portion (16) exhibits a lateral locking portion (17) which interacts with corresponding blocking cutouts (5, 6) in the actuating bar (1). <IMAGE>
