[origin: EP0600356A1] The portable bridge (B), which can be transported if necessary by helicopter, can be assembled from individual bridge sections (A). Each bridge section (A) has uniformly a floor slab (2, 2') over the entire width of the bridge and on both sides of the bridge (B) in each case an upturned truss triangle (1, 1'), one corner of which is connected to the assigned floor slab (2, 2') at its - seen in any direction - rear transverse edge and the opposite side of which is constructed as top boom (3, 3'). The adjoining bridge section in each case is connected by the front transverse edge of its floor slab (2') directly or via the floor slab (2) of the preceding bridge section (A) to the bottom corner of the truss triangles (1, 1') and by the top boom (3, 3') of the truss triangles (1, 1') to the corresponding top boom (3, 3') of the truss triangles (1, 1') of the preceding bridge section (A). The last bridge section is assigned a further floor slab (2'), and the top booms (3, 3') of the first and last bridge section are connected by a diagonal brace (4), which terminates the truss, to the associated floor slab (2, 2'). <IMAGE>
