Abstract (en)
The subject of the present invention is a seal for electroacoustic motors, in particular for the transducers which can be immersed in a liquid (4) to a great depth. The seal according to the invention, for electroacoustic motors, of cylindrical shape of any cross-section along an axis xx', includes an envelope (8), a large part of which matches as closely as possible the shape of the said motor (1) over its entire length and against its external surface, and the other part of which consists of a discontinuity (9), giving a longitudinal elasticity characteristic to the deformation of the envelope (8) in the direction of the axis xx' of the said motor (1), which envelope (8) is closed, made of material whose thermal conductivity is high, and connected to any fixing system (16, 17) at its ends in order to form a sealed case. <IMAGE>

La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif d'étanchéité de moteurs électro-acoustiques, en particulier pour les transducteurs immergeables dans un liquide (4) à grande profondeur. Le dispositif suivant l'invention, pour des moteurs électro-acoustiques, de forme cylindrique de section quelconque suivant un axe xx', comporte une enveloppe (8), dont une grande partie épouse au plus près la forme dudit moteur (1) sur toute sa longueur et contre sa surface externe, et dont l'autre partie est constituée d'une discontinuité (9), donnant une caractéristique d'élasticité longitudinale de déformation de l'enveloppe (8) dans le sens de l'axe xx' dudit moteur (1), laquelle enveloppe (8) est fermée, en matériau dont la conductibilité thermique est élevée et associée à tout système de fixation (16, 17) à ses extrémités pour constituer un boîtier étanche. <IMAGE>
