[origin: EP0600758A1] The subject of the present invention is a seal for electroacoustic motors, in particular for the transducers which can be immersed in a liquid (4) to a great depth. The seal according to the invention, for electroacoustic motors, of cylindrical shape of any cross-section along an axis xx', includes an envelope (8), a large part of which matches as closely as possible the shape of the said motor (1) over its entire length and against its external surface, and the other part of which consists of a discontinuity (9), giving a longitudinal elasticity characteristic to the deformation of the envelope (8) in the direction of the axis xx' of the said motor (1), which envelope (8) is closed, made of material whose thermal conductivity is high, and connected to any fixing system (16, 17) at its ends in order to form a sealed case. <IMAGE>
