[origin: WO9310458A1] A method and composition useful for the detection of anti-milk-protein IgE antibodies patient in body fluids. A composition of milk protein extract, casein and beta -lactoglobulin is useful for the detection of anti-milk-protein IgE antibodies. The furher addition of bovine gamma globulin to the composition improves the detection of such IgE antibodies. The method involves applying to a solid phase an amount of the composition in solution and drying. The solid phase is placed in contact with a patient test sample and the presence or amount of anti-milk-protein IgE antibodies is determined.

L'invention concerne un procédé et une composition utilisés dans la détection, chez un patient, d'anticorps IgE de l'anti-protéine du lait dans les fluides corporels. Une composition d'extrait de la protéine du lait, la caséine et la lactoglobuline beta est utilisée dans la détection d'anticorps IgE de l'anti-protéine du lait. L'adjonction ultérieure de la gamma-globuline du boeuf à la composition facilite la détection de ces anticorps IgE. Le procédé consiste à appliquer à une phase solide une quantité de la composition en solution et à sécher. La phase solide est mise en contact avec un échantillon test d'un patient et on détermine la présence ou la quantité d'anticorps IgE de l'anti-protéine du lait.
