[origin: WO9325779A1] A sloping roof structure for a sunlounge or conservatory comprises a roof frame, glazed panels (1, 50) for assembly with the frame to form the roof structure, and a ridge (7, 7a) for mounting along an upper generally horizontal side of the roof frame and having a mounting slot extending along its length and facing the glazing panels so as to receive and to hold the upper edges of the panels; in which the mounting slot includes support means (9) to support the underside of the upper edge of at least one glazing panel with a ventilation slot (5) defined with the underside to exhaust warm air in the region adjacent to the glazing panel; a venting chamber (2) is defined within the structure of the ridge (7, 7a) to communicate with the ventilation slot (5); an outlet (4) is provided in the wall of the ridge (7, 7a) which communicates with the venting chamber (2) and which faces outwardly to discharge warm air from the chamber; and the lower or eaves end of the roof structure is supported by a support structure (51, 52, 53) which defines a ventilation slot (54) with the underside of the glazed panel (50) to allow ingress of external atmosphere to ventilate the room.

L'invention concerne une structure de toit à pentes conçue pour une véranda ou une serre et qui comprend une charpente, des panneaux vitrés (1, 50) destinés à être assemblés à la charpente afin de former la structure du toit, et un faîte (7, 7a) destiné à être monté le long d'un côté supérieur généralement horizontal de la charpente et présentant une fente de montage s'étendant sur sa longueur et faisant face aux panneaux vitrés de façon à recevoir et à maintenir les bords supérieurs des panneaux; la fente de montage comprend des éléments support (9) destinés à soutenir la surface inférieure du bord supérieur d'au moins un panneau vitré avec une fente de ventilation (5) formée dans la surface inférieure pour évacuer l'air chaud dans la région adjacente au panneau vitré; une chambre d'aération (2) est formée dans la structure du faîte (7, 7a) afin de communiquer avec la fente de ventilation (5); un e sortie (4) est ménagée dans la paroi du faîte (7, 7a), il communique avec la chambre d'aération (2) et donne sur l'extérieur pour évacuer l'air chaud de la chambre; et l'extrémité inférieure ou saillie de la structure du toit est soutenue par une structure de support (51, 52, 53) qui définit une fente de ventilation (54) avec la surface inférieure du panneau vitré (50) pour faciliter l'admission de l'air extérieur afin d'aérer la pièce.
