The invention relates to a regular jack (RJ) connector for information and data technology, having contacts of the insulation-displacement technology type. The object, namely to develop a regular jack connector which is substantially improved with respect to its electrical parameters and which corresponds to category 5 of the technical requirements for cable and connector technology (EIA), is achieved through the fanning-out of the individual contacts in the regular jack connector and their extension to the insulation-displacement (LSA) contacts, which are arranged set back, on two levels.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen RJ-Verbinder für die Nachrichten- und Datentechnik mit Kontakten der Schneid-Klemm-Technik. Die Aufgabe, einen RJ-Verbinder zu entwickeln, der in seinen elektrischen Parametern wesentlich verbessert ist und welcher der Kategorie 5 der technischen Anforderungen für Kabel und Verbindertechnik (EIA) entspricht, wird durch die Auffächerung der Einzelkontakte im RJ-Verbinder und deren Weiterführung zu den versetzt angeordneten Kontakten der Schneid-Klemm-Technik (LSA) auf zwei Ebenen erreicht. <IMAGE>
