[origin: EP0601294A1] For sashes (leaves) 3 of windows, doors or the like, which are equipped with a drive-rod fitting 4, in particular a side/bottom sash fitting, which exhibits an actuating gearing with a rotary-drive member which is accommodated in a gearing housing 7 and is intended for the drive rods, the invention proposes the use of a device for supplementary locking 13 which inhibits break-in. Said device has a housing 15 which can be positioned on the room-side end surface of the sash, movably mounts and/or guides at least one supplementary locking bar 18 and can be placed, as a retrofitting and/or supplementing element, beneath the bearing rosette 10 of the operating hand lever 9, and is thereby penetrated by the drive pin 8 of the operating hand lever 9 and also by the anchor screws 11 for the bearing rosette 10 thereof. Provided as adjustment member for the supplementary locking bar 18 is a supplementary handle 20 which is mounted in the housing 15 at a distance from the through-passage region for the drive pin 8 of the operating hand lever 9, and the housing 15 which contains the supplementary locking bar 18 mounts, in the through-passage region for the drive pin 8 of the operating hand lever 9, a cam plate 26 which can be coupled in a rotationally fixed manner to said lever. Said cam plate 26 is provided on its circumference with a plurality of, that is to say at least two, cam surfaces which are offset at an angle of rotation with respect to one another, are delimited in a rectilinear manner at least in certain areas and are arranged at different radial spacings from the axis of rotation of the cam plate. In the housing 15 which contains the supplementary locking bar 18, a slide 38 can be displaced to a limited extent on a plane normal to both the axis of rotation of the cam plate 26 and to the axis of rotation of the operating hand lever 9 and/or rotary-drive pin 8, it being directed towards the movement path of the supplementary handle 20 by its one end and the movement path of the cam plate 26 by its other end. In this arrangement, the slide 38 has a length, by which it alternately blocks, within the housing 15, either the movement path of the cam plate 26 or the movement path of the supplementary handle 20. <IMAGE>
