Abstract (en)
The resonator has a dielectric cylinder (2) arranged in a housing (1) and a dielectric body (5) which can be inserted into a recess (4) of the cylinder (2), the insertion depth of the dielectric body (5), on which the resonant frequency of the resonator depends, being adjustable by means of a support (6) which is fastened on the dielectric body (5) and extends outside the housing (1). The recess (4) is arranged off-centre in the dielectric cylinder (2), to be precise at a location where the electric field strength is as high as possible. Under these conditions, a support (6) made of metal can be used, without the quality of the resonator being thereby detrimentally affected. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Der Resonator weist einen in einem Gehäuse (1) angeordneten dielektrischen Zylinder (2) und einen in eine Aussparung (4) des Zylinders (2) eintauchbaren dielektrischen Körper (5) auf, wobei die Eintauchtiefe des dielektrischen Körpers (5), von der die Resonanzfrequenz des Resonators abhängt, mittels einer am dielektrischen Körper (5) befestigen und außerhalb des Gehäuses (1) zugängigen Halterung (6) einstellbar ist. Die Aussparung (4) ist außerzentrisch in dem dielektrischen Zylinder (2) angeordnet und zwar in einem Bereich, in dem die elektrische Feldstärke möglichst groß ist. Unter dieser Voraussetzung kann eine Halterung (6) aus Metall verwendet werden, ohne daß dadurch die Güte des Resonators beeinträchtigt wird. <IMAGE>
