Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0601396A2] Drainage web (10) which can be rolled up and is intended for the production of capillary-breaking drainage layers for the drainage of coverings laid thereon, comprising a multiplicity of foamed-plastic strips (11) which are arranged at regular intervals with respect to one another and have cutouts (12) which are provided on the upper side and run transversely with respect to the longitudinal sides of the foamed-plastic strips. The foamed-plastic strips (11) are connected to one another by a water-permeable cover web (13) which is applied in an adhering manner on the upper side of said strips and is configured in a flexurally soft manner, with the result that it can be rolled up with the foam strips. The width of the covering web (13) may be of greater dimensions than the length of the foamed-plastic strips (11), with the result that, in order to form overlappings (15) with neighbouring drainage webs (10), it projects beyond the foamed-plastic strips (11). <IMAGE>
