[origin: EP0601411A2] 2.1. Blanks (10) for hinged-lid boxes must be provided with adhesive. This is done by forming gluing spots (29). A plurality of rows of gluing spots, namely spot rows (33..36), are distributed over the blank (10) in a particular manner so that the collar (84) and inner wrapping (82) are fixed sufficiently and an inner flap (22) of the lid is connected durably to a front wall (20) of the lid. 2.2. The gluing spots (29) are applied by a gluing assembly (37) which can be removed as a unit from the packaging machine and is connected to a glue container via a main glue line (56). <IMAGE>
