[origin: EP0601476A1] The invention relates to a device for adjusting the pressure exerted by an impression cylinder, provided with an exchangeable sleeve (2), in a rotary printing machine, whose bearing has an eccentric bush (4) provided with a toothing in which an eccentric adjustment mechanism engages in the operating state, which eccentric adjustment mechanism is provided with a toothing and can be adjusted from the region of an opening in a frame wall, which opening allows exchange of the sleeve. In order to provide a device which allows exchange of the sleeve in the rotary printing machine using simple means requiring little space and allows functionally reliable adjustment of the impression cylinder in the operating state, a toothed segment (8) engaging in the toothing of the eccentric bush (4) and a pressure medium-operated operating cylinder (9) linked thereto are connected pivotably to a pivoting lever (7) which is mounted in the frame wall and on which a two-member, driven toggle lever (14) acts, which is connected pivotably to the frame wall at the other end. <IMAGE>
