The device comprises a reservoir (10) which has an open face (30) bounded by a peripheral rim (28) for assembling the reservoir on a manifold plate (32), as well as a removable partition (36) which has a peripheral edge (46) joined in leaktight manner to a peripheral bearing edge (48) inside the reservoir, for dividing the reservoir into two separate compartments (38, 40) which respectively form the header box and the expansion chamber, at least one bracing member (54) fitted with snap-fastening means (56) being provided in order to join the removable partition to a bottom wall (20) of the reservoir, which wall is located opposite the open face. Application in particular to cooling radiators for internal-combustion engines. <IMAGE>

Le dispositif comprend un réservoir (10) présentant une face ouverte (30) délimitée par un rebord périphérique (28) pour l'assemblage du réservoir sur une plaque collectrice (32), ainsi qu'une cloison amovible (36) présentant un bord périphérique (46) relié de façon étanche à un bord d'appui périphérique (48) à l'intérieur du réservoir, pour diviser le réservoir en deux compartiments distincts (38,40) formant respectivement boîte à eau et vase d'expansion, au moins une entretoise (54) munie de moyens d'encliquetage (56) étant prévue pour relier la cloison amovible à une paroi de fond (20) du réservoir, disposée à l'opposé de la face ouverte. Application notamment aux radiateurs de refroidissement de moteurs à combustion interne. <IMAGE>
