[origin: EP0602347A1] The invention relates to a process for flushing and reconditioning transfer systems for corrosive (gaseous) media, consisting of passivatable materials such as, for example, austenites or austenite-ferrites. In order to increase the re-formation of transfer systems for corrosive media and to decrease the contamination of the media, the re-formation of the surface activated by a corrosive gaseous medium into a passive state is effected by a flushing gas containing ozone, oxygen and/or steam. <IMAGE>
