In a vehicle lamp having a reflector or a lens for focusing the light beams which emerge from a filament of a filament lamp and having a light pane connected downstream in the beam path, having light-scattering optical elements arranged on the inside of the light pane in rows and/or columns of predetermined subdivision, the optical elements being constructed as lenses which scatter in the horizontal direction and/or the vertical direction, in order for the light pane to have the uniform appearance of a lens optics, but for the deflection behaviour of the light in this case to correspond both to that of a lens optics and a prism optics, a part or all of the optical elements have in horizontal or vertical section two prism flanges and one radius connecting the prism flanges, the prism flanges and the light pane form angles which deflect the light beams impinging on the prism flanges into outer regions which enclose an inner region into which the light beams impinging on the radius are scattered, and the radius merges tangentially into the prism flanges.

Bei einer Fahrzeugleuchte mit einem Reflektor oder einer Linse zur Bündelung der aus einer Glühwendel einer Glühlampe austretenden Lichtstrahlen und mit einer im Strahlengang nachgeschalteten Lichtscheibe, mit in Reihen und/oder Spalten mit vorgegebener Teilung auf der Innenseite der Lichtscheibe angeordneten lichtstreuenden optischen Elementen, wobei die optischen Elemente als in horizontale Richtung und/oder vertikale Richtung streuende Linsen ausgebildet sind, weisen, damit die Lichtscheibe das einheitliche Erscheinungsbild einer Linsenoptik zeigt, das Ablenkverhalten des Lichts jedoch sowohl einer Linsenoptik als auch einer Prismenoptik entspricht, ein Teil oder alle optischen Elemente im horizontalen oder vertikalen Schnitt zwei Prismenflanken und einen die Prismenflanken verbindenden Radius auf, bilden die Prismenflanken zu der Lichtscheibe Winkel, die die auf die Prismenflanken auffallenden Lichtstrahlen in äußere Bereiche ablenken, die einen inneren Bereich einschließen, in den die auf den Radius auftreffenden Lichtstrahlen gestreut werden, und weist der Radius einen tangentialen Übergang in die Prismenflanken auf.
