Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to elements which make it possible to produce hinges. The element according to the invention is characterised essentially in that it consists of a unitary body 2 inscribed in a cylindrical surface 13 and has two end parts 4, 5, a through hole 6, 7 made in each end part along the generatrix of the cylindrical surface, two wall parts 8, 9 secured, respectively, to the two end parts 4, 5, and a wall portion 10 secured to the two wall parts 8, 9, this wall portion 10 having at least one point of weakness in its link with the two wall parts 8, 9 making it possible to separate the latter by means of a relatively low rupture force. Application, in particular, to the production of aluminium hinges for building closures. <IMAGE>

La présente invention concerne les éléments qui permettent de réaliser des charnières. L'élément selon l'invention se caractérise essentiellement par le fait qu'il est constitué d'un corps unitaire 2 inscrit dans une surface cylindrique 13 et comportant deux parties d'extrémités 4, 5, une percée traversante 6, 7 réalisée dans chaque partie d'extrémité suivant la génératri- ce de la surface cylindrique, deux parties de parois 8, 9 solidaires respectivement des deux parties d'extrémités 4, 5, et une portion de paroi 10 solidaire des deux parties de parois 8, 9, cette portion de paroi 10 présentant au moins un point de faiblesse dans sa liaison avec les deux parties de parois 8, 9, permettant de séparer celles-ci sous un effort de rupture relativement faible. Application, notamment. à la réalisation de charnières en aluminium pour les fermetures de bâtiments. <IMAGE>
