[origin: WO9304895A1] A device for fastening a load carrier on a ball hitch (1) on a vehicle has a base portion (4) and a locking portion (5) each with an engagement member (6 and 7, respectively) designed so as to surround the ball of the ball hitch (1). The base portion (4) and the locking portion (5) are pivotally (12) connected at their one ends and have, at their other ends, a clamping device (14, 15, 18, 19) which, on activation, presses the base portion (4) and the locking portion (5) towards one another. The engagement members (6, 7) are located in the central region of the base portion (4) and the locking portion (5). The base portion (4) has anchorages for the load carrier while the locking portion (5) has a pivotal operating arm (20) for the clamping device (14, 15, 18, 19).

Dispositif servant à fixer un porte-charge sur le crochet d'attelage à boule (1) d'un véhicule et comportant une partie de base (4) et une partie de verrouillage (5) possédant chacune un élément de prise (respectivement 6 et 7) conçu de façon à entourer la boule du crochet d'attelage (1). La partie de base (4) et la partie de verrouillage (5) sont pourvues d'un accouplement rotatif (12) à l'une de leurs extrémités et possèdent, à leurs autres extrémités, un dispositif de fixation (14, 15, 18, 19) poussant, quant on l'actionne, la partie de base (4) et la partie de verrouillage (5) l'une vers l'autre. Les éléments de prise (6, 7) sont situés dans la région centrale de la partie de base (4) et de la partie de verrouillage (5). La partie de base (4) comporte des points d'ancrage pour le porte-charge, tandis que la partie de verrouillage (5) possède un bras pivotant (20) accouplé au dispositif de fixation (14, 15, 18, 19).
