[origin: WO9402532A1] The invention relates to a process for the preparation of a polymer composition containing an electrically conducting polymer which involves polymerisation of polymerisable monomer units to yield an electrically conducting polymer in a reaction mixture containing a pH buffer. The invention is characterised in that the polymerisable monomer units are obtained by in situ activation of precursor monomers. With the process according to the invention it is possible to use simple processing steps to shape moulding compounds and manufacture products that contain electrically conducting polymers. Instantaneous, premature polymerisation is prevented, polymerisation taking place at a point of time of one's own choice.

Procédé de préparation d'une composition polymère contenant un polymère électroconducteur, consistant à polymériser des unités monomères polymérisables pour obtenir un polymère électroconducteur dans un mélange de réaction contenant un tampon de pH. L'invention se caractérise en ce que les unités monomères polymérisables sont obtenues par une activation in situ de monomères précurseurs. Grâce à ce procédé, il est possible, par des étapes de traitement simples, de façonner des composés à mouler et d'obtenir des produits qui contiennent des polymères électroconducteurs. On prévient la polymérisation instantanée et prématurée, et il est possible de choisir le moment où cette réaction doit avoir lieu.
