In the case of a smoke extracting hood having a filter and a suction system arranged there behind, and also having a drawer-like pull-out element for enlarging the sucking-in area, this drawer-like pull-out element arranged in front of the fat filter is equipped with a filter element which has a substantially lower flow resistance and a substantially reduced absorption behaviour compared with the actual fat filter arranged after it in the flow direction. <IMAGE>

Bei einer Dunstabzugshaube mit einem Filter und einem dahinter angeordneten Saugsystem sowie mit einem schubladenartigen Auszug zur Vergrößerung des Ansaugbereichs, ist dieser dem Fettfilter vorgelagerte, schubladenartige Auszug mit einem Filterelement ausgestattet, welches gegenüber dem in Strömungsrichtung der nachliegend angeordneten eigentlichen Fettfilter einen wesentlich geringeren Strömungswiderstand und ein wesentlich vermindertes Absorptionsverhalten aufweist. <IMAGE>
