The support element is used for applying a pictorial, textual and/or numerical code (13) into or onto a pane of glass for security-coding vehicles, and consists of a template (10) which has pre-punched, pre-scored or pre-cut perforations (13), preferably letters and/or numbers, and is provided on its reverse with self-adhesive coating (11) whereby the template (10) can be releasibly fixed on a temporary support (12') of paper, board, plastic or glass. <IMAGE>

Das Trägerelement dient zum Anbringen eines Bild-, Buchstaben- und/oder Zahlen-Codes (13) in oder an einer Glasscheibe zur Sicherheitscodierung von Kraftfahrzeugen und besteht aus einer Schablone (10), die vorgestanzte, vorgeritzte oder vorgeschnittene Durchbrechungen (13), vorzugsweise Buchstaben und/oder Zahlen, aufweist und auf ihrer Rückseite mit einer selbstklebenden Beschichtung (11) versehen ist, mit der die Schablone (10) lösbar auf einem temporären Träger (12') aus Papier, Pappe, Kunststoff oder Glas fixierbar ist. <IMAGE>
