Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0603708A2] This invention relates to a process for combustion, separation, and solidification of <3>H and <1><4>C from a combustible liquid stream. Gaseous combustion gases containing <3>H2O and <1><4>CO2 are processed by absorption of the <1><4>CO2 with caustic solution to produce a <1><4>C salt and condensation and/or removal of gaseous <3>H2O through the use of a desiccating agent. Liquid <3>H2O and a slurry solution containing the <1><4>C salt are solidified through the addition of a solidifying agent. <IMAGE>
