[origin: EP0603985A1] The invention relates to a transportation line, in particular a monorail, having a crab which is guided on a rail and has lateral guide rollers, a running rail which rolls on the rail and a corresponding wheel, and having an additional rail which extends parallel to the rail, for the corresponding wheel for reinforcing the frictional engagement of the running wheel with the rail. In order to permit reliable transmission of the drive forces of the running wheels to the rail in particular at sections with a gradient, it is proposed that the additional rail (11) be arranged laterally next to the rail (1) and the corresponding wheel (12) which rolls on the additional rail (11) intersect an imaginary plane which is aligned transversely with respect to the longitudinal extent of the rail (1) and runs through the axis (19) of the running wheel (8) of the crab (2). <IMAGE>
