[origin: EP0604315A1] The subject of the invention is the palletising of bottles, in particular the palletising on centres of large-capacity champagne bottles, in successive staggered layers. These layers are carried by ribbed thermoformed trays (1), simply furnished inside their rim (5) with funnels (2) projecting via their narrow end onto the table forming the plane for supporting the bases of one of the layers (B1), themselves constituting, on the corresponding face, moles (mounds) (4a, 4b) centring these bases inside their grid, and capable of receiving the shoulder of the bottles (B2) of the next layer. The invention is of particular interest for directly storing the bottles after hydraulic testing. <IMAGE>
