[origin: EP0604316A1] Device for positive locking of the setting wheels (2) with which the printing drum (1) of a franking machine is equipped. A rocking calliper (5) locks the setting wheels (2) against the force of a restoring spring (8). A sliding drawbar (26), fitted with a rider (30) which cooperates with a fixed collar (31) coaxial with the rotary drum (1), provides a safety locking measure by disabling an arm (11) of the calliper (5) during the phase of rotation of this drum (1). <IMAGE>
